Syntactics Learns “Productivity On the Go”
Owning a business isn’t just about financial security, it’s also about the unusual experiences entrepreneurship can provide. Often, entrepreneurs lack access to the resources, networks, connections and sometimes knowledge to manage their businesses. The Irvine Chamber of Commerce developed a Micropreneur Webinar Program to provide entrepreneurs with training, coaching and mentoring on how to manage and run a successful business as well as how to make pitches that will give the highest chances in receiving investment funds.
John Kurth, founder and president of Syntactics Sales Scripting, started his company to provide his clients with sales scripts. The premise of Syntactics Sales Scripting is to help clients with customers, make more money, and grow their businesses.
“The definition of Syntax is: a connected system or order, orderly arrangement, or harmonious relationship,” said John Kurth, president of Syntactics. “The ‘Syntax of Success™’ is using the right scripts in the right order and sequence in your sales process to win more customers.”
The daily grind takes its toll on everyone, even a man like John Kurth who has his script together. But John realized to manage and grow his business he would need to expand his knowledge to maximize productivity and time efficiency. As a member of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, John receives access to the Irvine Micropreneur Program – a weekly webinar on training, coaching and mentoring.
“I found listening in on the webinars, especially the ‘Business Communications for Micropreneurs’, extremely enlightening,” said Kurth. “There is a lot of technology and various applications out there to help you, but who has the time to review all the available technology and the different applications.” In less than hour, John was able to save hours and hours of time in determining how to best select technology to help him with his business.
Taking a little time during lunch, John was able to learn that operationally efficiency is not strategy and technology efficiency needs to be a service to your strategy. The micropreneur webinar provided John a series of questions to determine the technologies and applications would be right for his business. The webinar featured an industry expert who provided the knowledge and framework for filtering and selecting technology to enhance his efficiency in managing Syntactics.
The Irvine Micropreneur Program is an exclusive resource for Irvine Chamber members that include webinars and teleconferences where entrepreneurs can receive personal coaching on their specific business needs. Every Thursday, you can participate in interesting business topics as well as direct mentoring to participants with their business concerns.
John Kurth gained the knowledge from the Micropreneur Webinar to make him more efficient knowing that technology is a service to his strategy. While eating lunch, John was exposed to a strong portfolio of business applications delivering help to minimize the complexity of business and improve productivity. Eating lunch, attending a webinar, and improving efficiency and productivity are priceless.
As John Kurth says, “Don’t take my word for it, find out for yourself.”
